Hundreds of Czech artists call for an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza

Prague (ST) – More than 400 Czech artists signed an open letter to the country’s political leaders calling on them to work with other countries to reach an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the aggression and siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on the Strip.

The Czech News Agency reported that the artists announced their joining of the American initiative “Artists for a Ceasefire,” stressing that they are supporting this humanitarian demand to end the ongoing tragedy taking place in Gaza and the West Bank, demanding a ceasefire before more innocent people are killed.

The artists also called for an immediate end to the unjust siege imposed on the Strip, and to work to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinians who are experiencing a tragedy as a result of the aggression and occupation measures.
