Hundreds join the settlement process in Deir ez-Zor

Yesterday, hundreds of Deir ez-Zor residents joined the comprehensive settlement process in the governorate, including wanted civilians and fleeing military personnel.

A number of Qasd militia leaders joined the settlement.

Hamad Al-Ghadeer, who was the so-called administrative commander of the SDF militia’s internal security in the Abu Hamam and Hajin area, said that he came to benefit from the settlement launched by the state.

Al-Ghadeer said that the economic and security conditions in the SDF-occupied areas are bad, in light of the absence of services, and the exploitation of the leadership of the “SDF” of the citizens, looting their livelihoods and threatening their lives.

Al-Ghadeer explained that the high turnout witnessed by the settlement center is  explicit confirmation of the desire of many of the people to make a settlement.

A number of citizens whose statuses were settled, praised the simplified procedures during the settlement process, as Ahmed indicated that he fled from military  service since 2014 and went to Turkey before returning from it four years ago, where he resided in areas controlled by the SDF militia and came to conduct the settlement after the settlement was completed.

Muhammad Ibrahim, who came from the village of Al-Dahla in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, stated that he learned about this settlement process through television and submitted to the settlement of his situation.

Khattab Henedi said that he came from the city of Hasaka to take advantage of this settlement, calling on all the people of Syria to return to the path of righteousness.
