Humanitarian response to assist the families displaced due to the Turkish aggression on Hasakah countryside areas continues

The Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Hasakah has continued to provide assistance to the families that were displaced from Abu Rasin town due to the repeated Turkish aggression on this area.

Ibrahim Khalaf, Director of Social Affairs in Hasakah, said in a statement to SANA that the directorate has assisted around 1500 displaced families from the villages of Al-Asadiyeh, Haramleh Sharqiyeh, Dada Abdal, Matmoura, Haramleh Jnoubiyeh and Arab Khan in addition to 1900 hosting families from the local community in Tal Tamer town and the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli.

He pointed out that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Militia refused to open a housing center for the displaced families.

Khalaf went on to say that the directorate in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) as well as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has provided relief aid to the families displaced because of the Turkish aggression.

In the same context, Head of the SARC branch in Hasakah Ali Mansour said that the process of distributing the aid will continue until it covers all the displaced and hosting families.

The aid batches contain food baskets, blankets, solar chargers and other necessary materials, he added, pointing out that aid deliveries will cover the affected families in the far countryside of Hasakah.

The towns of Abu Rasin and Tal Tamer in Hasakah northern and northwestern countryside are being exposed to daily attacks by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries, causing civilian casualties and leading to the displacement of hundreds of families from the targeted areas.
