Humanitarian Aid Convoys Head towards Madaya in Damascus Countryside, Kafraya and Al-Fou’a in Idleb

PROVINCES, (ST)-Humanitarian aid convoys on Monday headed simultaneously towards the towns of al-Fou’a and Kafraya in Idleb and the town of Madaya in Damascus Countryside.

SANA correspondents in the targeted towns said a humanitarian aid convoy headed towards Idleb countryside’s towns of Kafraya and al-Fou’a, besieged for more than two years by terrorist organizations affiliated to Al Saud regime, while another aid convoy simultaneously headed to the town of Madaya in Damascus countryside.

The operation is taking place under the supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations, the correspondents added.

The two processes of today are carried out, as phase two per an agreement reached last September, after December 28th process, when some 300 families from the besieged towns of al-Foua’a and Kafraya in Idleb were moved out in parallel with moving injured gunmen and their families out of al-Zabadani city in Damascus countryside under UN, SARC, and ICRC supervision.
