Hosseini: Hegemonic forces should not be allowed to abuse human rights

Tehran-(ST)- Mohammad Hosseini the assistant to the Iranian President for Parliamentary Affairs stressed that the forces of hegemony and domination that do not want other countries to achieve independence and development should not be allowed to infringe on the sovereignty of these countries and exploit and politicize human rights issues to advance their colonial goals.

Hosseini during his meeting with Vice-President of the National Council of Vietnam Tuan Quang Vong in Tehran said: “The approach of his country’s foreign policy depends on the priority of developing relations with friendly and neighboring countries, and interest in Southeast Asian countries.

Hosseini expressed Tehran’s appreciation for the positive and independent stances of Vietnam in international circles, according to Iranian News Agency IRNA.

In his turn, the Vice-President of the Vietnamese National Council affirmed that his country believes in Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy, and fully supports this right.

Tuan Quang Vong welcomed the proposal of the assistant to the Iranian president on raising the level of political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries to serve the interests of their peoples.
