The National Defense Army Center (NDAC) in Sweida has organized recently a special ceremony for horning the Martyrs’ families.
The event which took place in the city’s Education theater included a documentary movie on the establishment of the National Defense Army Center in the governorate of Sweida and a detailed explanation on its divisions and tasks.
The ceremony also included two plays on the martyr’s key role in defending our homeland’s independence and sovereignty and a poem of the famous poet Bassim Amer.
At the beginning of the event Head of the National Deface Army Center Ghazi Mallak delivered a speech on the center’s soldiers’ sacrifices regarding ensuring the governorate’s frontiers in the face of certain terrorist attacks, namely in Dier Dama village in Sweida.
He also expressed full admiration and complete respect for the soldiers whom are affiliated to the center due to their efforts regarding protecting the civilians in the governorate, giving a briefing on the center’s responsibilities.
During the event one of the martyrs’ brothers Odai Sharoof also addressed the martyrs’ families statement.
The activities of the event also included a special anthem in honoring of the National Defense Center’s martyrs. The anthem was also written by the poet Bassim Amer.
In a statement to Syria times reporter in Sweida FAtat Mohammad Khir Baik who is one of the soldiers’ Center and a mother of three children said I am from lattakia governorate for me all the Syrian territories are my home, Sweida is like Lattakia, Homs, Hama and Aleppo all of them are my home and all the Syrians are my brothers.
Answering a question about her role in the National Defense Army’s Center in the city the soldier Fatat said now I am working at the Administrative Department of the center, confirming her full readiness to shoulder her responsibilities as a soldier in the battle field when it needs.
”we are ready for offering our soils for defending our homeland Syria, namely against current global war and campaign being conducted and launched by certain foreign powers against our country.” The soldier added.
For his part Skiekh Aqil the Muslims al- Drooz al- Mouhdeen Ibrahim abu- Asali spoke about the governorate role in supporting the homeless through offering all out aid for them.
He also gave importance for the National Defense Army Center’s role in defending the mountainous city of Sweida, calling for abiding by national unity in the face of current crisis which aimed at destroying our beloved Syria.
Shiekh abu- Asali concluded his statement by calling for closing ranks in the face of our homeland’s current ordeal, giving priority for combating sectarian danger.
