Honoring 43 outstanding students in the secondary certificate

The Ministry of Education has honored today 43 male and female students of the high school in its various branches at the Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus, with the support of the International Islamic Bank of Syria.

The honoring ceremony, which bore the slogan “Hope in Science”, included the presentation of appreciation shields and gifts to students, in addition to the bank opening an account for each student exempt from commissions and fees and including all banking services: bank card and others.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, said in a speech during the honoring ceremony  that the those who excel in their knowledge and work are the ones who will defend the country, preserve it and rebuild it, and the Ministry is working to support outstanding students to implement their future pioneering projects, especially in the field of vocational education that the labor market needs today, appreciating the Bank’s initiative in honoring outstanding students to encourage them to continue to excel.

For his part, the CEO of Syria International Islamic Bank Bashar Al-Sit referred to the role of educational cadres and the families in achieving excellence for students, indicating that this honor is a translation of the social responsibility that the bank works to implement annually. He stressed that the Bank supports the creativity and talents of young people in general and outstanding students in particular, believing that the youth group is the real wealth of the nation, as they are the mainstream of the present and the future and the basic building block for achieving development and prosperity.

A number of students considered this ceremony as  motivation and an  incentive to reach the highest ranks of science.
