Homs Blast Kills at Least 7 Civilians

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorists have exploded a car bomb in Homs city, killing at least 7 civilians and wounding 21 others, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified that the car bomb exploded today in the main busy street of al-Arman quarter in Homs city where 7 civilians were martyred and 21 others wounded.

Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi described the explosion as a ‘coward terrorist act’, stressing that such terrorist acts will never undermine Syrians’ steadfastness.

In the same province [Homs], two civilians were wounded by missile attack on al-Zahra’a quarter.

Shells kill 2 children

While in Damascus countryside- precisely in Betima town in Qatana area,  a mortar attack killed two children.

A police command source declared that two mortar shells-fired by terrorists- hit Qatana area outside Damascus, killing two children, aged 5 and 10.

Two more shells landed in al-Zablatani and al-Abbaseyen quarters in Damascus province, wounding two civilians.
