Hizbollah deputy leader: Only option to confront Israel is resistance

Activities of the 11th Islamic National Conference kicked off on Saturday in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut, with the participation of many Arab intellectuals and politicians, with the aim of supporting all forms of resistance.

Deputy Secretary General of Hizbollah Na’eem Qasem said during the opening ceremony that the only way to confront Israel is resistance with all its forms, stressing that any other solution is a waste of time and that Hezbollah is ready to confront any Israeli aggression.

“Israel believes that its threats will create concerns to the axis of resistance, but these threats are meaningless,” Qasem added, pointing out and that the presence of the Zionist entity in the region is based on wars.

The Hizbollah official went on to say that any west-sponsored political option is part of a plan to support the Israeli occupation, clarifying that the United States exploits everything to serve the Zionist entity, while resistance forces are working hard to preserve the sovereignty and dignity of countries.

On his part, Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine Ziad Al-Nakhala called for supporting the Palestinian resistance, stressing that the Israeli enemy couldn’t break the will the Palestinian people to liberate their occupied land and restore their usurped rights.

He pointed out that the Palestinian people continue with their historical struggle against the Israeli enemy despite all hard circumstances.

Several other speeches were made during the conference, affirming the need to confront the US-Zionist scheme in the region and reiterating the ability of the axis of resistance to achieve victories.
