Higher Presidential Committee of Churches Affairs in Palestine has affirmed that the people of Palestine will remain steadfast despite the Israeli occupation forces’ violations and practices that aim to impose a fait accompli and to end the Palestinian existence, especially in the occupied Jerusalem [Al-Quds].
The committee said in a statement released on Tuesday on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Palestinian Land Day that this Day represents a story of steadfastness and the insistence of Palestinian people to struggle against occupation.
It asserted that the Israeli occupation’s practices in a Palestinian state, especially in Al-Quds city, are invalid according to the International Law and UN resolutions.
The committee called on the international community and world churches to adopt serious steps to stop Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.
