The General Secretariat of the Arab Youth Union has stressed that the Arab League’s decision to label the Lebanese Hezbollah as ‘terrorist group’ contradicts the Arab people’s opinions.
It said in a statement released Tuesday that the decision aims to foment sedition in the Arab region and the Islamic world in order to divert the compass of Arabs from the real enemy [the Zionist entity.
“The Arab youth, who look to adoption of stances against the Israeli enemy’s crimes , was shocked by the decision of the Arab League that targets the Arab resistance movement,” the union added, pointing out that Hezbollah-since it’s foundation- has worked for restoration of the occupied Arab lands through honest resistance and has inflicted heavy losses upon the Israeli enemy , which was forced to withdraw from south of Lebanon in 2000.
“Hezbollah represents aspirations of the majority of the Arab youth in all Arab countries,” the union affirmed, rejecting the AL’s decision that seeks to divert attention from the terror movements in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.
