Hector Cuper announces list of the players of the top Syrian football team for matches with Democratic Korea and Japan
During a press conference held at the Football Association today in Damascus, the Argentinian coach of the Syrian national football team, Hector Cuper, announced the list of players that will play the matches against the Democratic Republic of Korea and Japan in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
The list included Ibrahim Alama, Ahmed Madaniyah, Taha Moussa, Amr Midani, Thaer Kroma, Khaled Kurdghli, Saad Ahmed, Moayed Al-Khouly, Abdel Rahman Wais, Amr Janiyat, Muhammad Al-Anz, Izakiel Al-Amm, Fahd Al-Youssef, Muhammad Othman, Kamel Hamisha, Ammar Ramadan, Mahmoud Al-Mawas, Ibrahim Hisar, Muhammad Al-Hallaq, Mardik Mardikian, Yassin Samia, Omar Khribin, and Omar Al-Somah.
The Syrian team will open the next qualifiers on the sixteenth of this month by playing the Democratic Republic of Korea, while it will face Japan on the twenty-first of this month as well, knowing that Saudi Arabia is the ground on which the team will play its matches in the qualifiers.
Cuper hoped that the Syrian team will reach the ultimate goal in the qualifiers, which is to seize a ticket to qualify for the World Cup, which is a long-awaited dream.
