Health Ministry reports 40 new coronavirus cases, 15 recoveries, 3 deaths
The Syrian Health Ministry on Friday said that 40 new COVID -19 cases were registered raising the number of infections in Syria to 3731 of which 918 patients have so far recovered and 168 have died.
the ministry also announced the recovery of 15 new cases and the death of 3 patients.
Daily infections in Syria have been witnessing a decrease over the past five days compared to last week.
The first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Syria on March 22, for a person who came from abroad. The first death was reported a week later.
