Health Ministry Launches National Vaccination Days

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Ministry of Health on Monday launched the national vaccination days targeting children under five and including the 11 vaccines provided in the national vaccination program.

The campaign, which lasts till April 30, aims at reaching children who are above five and have not given all their vaccines.

 Vaccines are to be given in health centers in all Syrian provinces in addition to a number of temporary health centers.

The National Vaccination Days event is part of the annual International Immunization Week which is usually organized in the last week of April and which is one of the most successful wide-scale health interventions.
