Health Ministry: 23 new coronavirus cases registered, 9 recovered

Damascus (ST): The Ministry of Health announced today that 23 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria and nine cases were recovered. The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of infections reached 780 until today, 246 of them have recovered and 43 cases have died.

The first case of coronavirus in Syria was detected on March 22nd, 2020, and the first death case resulting from this fatal virus happened on the 29^th of the same month.
