Health Ministry: 1492 confirmed cases of cholera and 49 recorded deaths

Damascus (ST):The Ministry of Health announced that the total cumulative number of cholera cases confirmed by the rapid test in the country rose to 1,492, distributed in Aleppo 909, Deir Ezzor 224, Hasakeh 87, Lattakia 86, Raqqa 54, Hama 32, Sweida 26, Homs 25, Damascus 18, Damascus Countryside 14, Tartous 9, Daraa 5, and Quneitra 3.
According to a ministry statement, the total cumulative number of deaths from cholera is 49, distributed in Aleppo 40, Hasakeh 4, Deir Ezzor 2, Homs 1, Hama 1, and Damascus 1.
