Health Minister, Syrian expatriates discuss cooperation to support health sector in Syria

Acting Minister of Health Maher Al-Sharaa discussed with a delegation from the Syrian communities in Romania, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia cooperation to support the health sector in Syria.

Al-Sharaa stressed the importance of the role of the Syrian communities in supporting their country, pointing out that the Ministry of Health has developed a plan for the next stage that includes a list of the needs of the health sector.

The delegation explained that the communities are ready to contribute to the reconstruction of the health sector by supporting health programs, providing educational grants, activating medical tourism, conducting studies to rehabilitate health facilities and providing medical equipment.
