Aleppo – Health Minister Nizar Yazigi affirmed that the Health Ministry drew up plans and programs to rebuild health facilities and hospitals that were destroyed by terrorism in Aleppo.
During a visit to the Optometry and Pediatrics Hospitals in Qadi Askar neighborhood in Aleppo city on Tuesday, as part of the visit of a government delegation headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, Yazigi pointed out that the systematic terrorism that affected the health facilities and hospitals in Aleppo “will not deter us from rebuilding the health system in order to serve our people in these areas,” SANA reported.
He said that the rebuilding process will begin with the Optometry Hospital, followed by rebuilding all hospitals, health centers, and medical centers which damaged by terrorism.
The Minister also visited the Nursing School and was briefed on the process of training there, with him stressing the need to promote this important health facility.
