Health Minister Hassan Al-Ghabbash on Thursday told the Syrian TV that the number of the martyrs in the terrorist attack that targeted the Military Academy in Homs hit 80, including six women and 6 children, while the number of the injured reached 240, kncluding 55 women and 22 children.
The minister visited the injured in the hospitals of Homs to assure about their health.
He stressed that the health condition of the injured is being monitored and necessary treatment and medical supplies are being provided to ensure their recovery.
He affirmed that immediately after the terrorist attack, the emergency system responded actively by rushing to the site of the attack, providing first-aid treatment and tranferring the wounded to the city’s hospitals.
The emergency systems in Tartous and Hama governorates were also put on alert, while ten ambulences from Damascus Countryside emergency system were brought to the site along with their staff, the minister said.
