Health discusses means of enhancing joint cooperation with David Nott Foundation

The Deputy Acting Minister of Health Hussein Al-Khatib discussed with a delegation from the British David Nott Foundation, headed by Executive Director Ellie Nott, means of enhancing joint cooperation.

Participants in the meeting, which was held in the ministry building, discussed the necessary needs to enhance continuing medical education for health cadres in Syria.

The participants highlighted the necessity of training and qualifying resident doctors, exchanging expertise and techniques regarding all types of surgery and anesthesia, and enhancing technical services supporting hospitals.

It is worth noting that the foundation specializes in specialized medical training, performing complex surgical operations in difficult environments, and providing vital health care services.
