Head of the so-called Deir Ezzor Council of the (SDF) militias wounded, and two of his bodyguards killed in Raqqa countryside

On January 31st, the head of the so-called Deir Ezzor Civil Council of the SDF militia was wounded, and two of his bodyguards were killed in an attack on his car in the countryside of Raqqa.

Local sources said that the head of the so-called Deir Ezzor Civil Council of the SDF militias was seriously wounded in an attack on his car while it was passing near a checkpoint in Al-Karamah town, 15kms eastern countryside of Raqqa.

In the southern countryside of Hasaka, local sources said that an explosive device went off in a military vehicle of the SDF militias while it was traveling on Al-Kharafi Road that links the southern countryside of Hasaka to the Governorateof Deir Ezzor Governorate.

 

The attacks against the US-backed SDF militias have escalated over the past few days, as a number of militants were killed and others were wounded in attacks with automatic weapons and improvised explosive devices,  in the town of Al-Shaddadi in Al-Hasakah and the town of Hamrat Balasim, east of the city of Raqqa.
