Head of Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce: Lifting sanctions on Syria will contribute to the return of economists to their homeland

Head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa Omar Al -Ali confirmed that the decision of US President Donald Trump to lift sanctions on Syria will contribute to the return of economists to their homeland, Thus, large investments flow.

He said in a statement to SANA: There are many economists awaiting this step to transfer their money to Syria, and start various commercial and industrial activities, and this will have a positive Impact on all the Syrian people, through improving their living conditions and providing them with basic services.

Al -Ali added: The lifting of sanctions on Syria means that all commercial institutions and individuals from all countries of the world will be able to work and trade with Syria.

He added ” therefore there will be a greater trade with the outside world in the Syrian exports and imports, and this will lead to supporting the Syrian economy, recycling and accelerating it.

Head of the federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, thanked all those who contributed to the decision to lift the sanctions on Syria, which was imposed on it as a result of the criminal acts of the former regime.

He called on all merchants and economists to return to their homeland, contribute to all available capabilities, and remove all the barriers that stand in the way of diversifying economic activity in Syria, and achieving the development that we all aspire to.
