Hasakah governorate honors police martyrs and wounded policemen

HASAKAH, May.5, (ST)- On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Hasakah Governorate Police Command held on Thursday a festival in the Meridian neighborhood, during which the families of the policemen’s martyrs and a number of the wounded were honored.
 
The Chief of Police Brigadier General Mahmoud Junaid, referred to the sacrifices offered by the Internal Security Forces and the police during the past years to preserve the safety and security of citizens.
 
Junaid pointed out that the Internal Security Forces fought alongside the Syrian army in the war on terrorism and offered martyrs in defense of Syria.
 
The families of the martyrs and a number of the wounded policemen, who were honored in the festival,  expressed their pride in what the state is doing to follow up on the affairs of martyrs’ families and wounded policemen.
