Hasakah Governor, representative of UN Population Fund in Syria discuss the needs of people in Hasakah Governorate

The Governor Hasakah Louay Sayoh on Monday met with Representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Syria, Hemmir Abd Al-Mughni. The two sides discussed the activities and projects of the Fund in the governorate and ways to increase support for these projects especially in the health sector.

During the meeting, focus was put on the needs and requirements of the people who have health problems, especially with regard to reproductive health.

Sayoh expressed the governorate’s readiness to provide all forms of support in order to complete the work of the United Nations Population Fund, which will reflect positively on the beneficiaries in the governorate, indicating the importance of coordination between the concerned departments and institutions and the Fund to facilitate the completion of tasks as required.
