Hasakah city’s residents suffer from sharp shortage of water and electricity due to Turkish regime’s acts

HASAKAH, (ST)_The  suffering of Hasakah city’s citizens continues due to the practices of the Turkish regime’s mercenaries, who control Alouk Water Station and steal Syria’s share of the Euphrates water.

Eng. Mahmoud Al-Okla, Director of the Water Establishment made it clear that the Turkish occupation runs only 1 pump and 10 wells daily, while it must run 4 pumps and 20 wells to meet the needs of Hasakah city and its western countryside for water.

“Water is being pumped to subscribers in Hasakah and surroundings once in 15 days,” he added pointing out that Water Establishment and the Syrian Red Crescent and International Red Cross send water tanks to the residents in the city  and its surrounding.

The city of Hasakah has electricity for just 2 hours a day because of stealing of Syria’s share of Euphrates water.
