Hamdan, Shatila: What is Happening in Syria Aims at Destabilizing the Region

BEIRUT, (ST)_ Secretary of the Independent Nasserite Movement leadership “al-Murabiton ” Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan stressed that the ongoing confrontations with the terrorists and their supporters in Syria and Egypt proved that the enemy and the director are identical,  namely the American-Israeli element,  and that the implementers are the “Muslim Brotherhood” gangs in Syria and Egypt.

In a speech during a ceremony hosted by the Lebanese People’s Congress in Beirut yesterday, Hamdan renewed standing by Syria and Egypt in their struggle against terrorists, expressing confidence to achieve victory over terrorism and its sponsors of Arab and Western countries.

Hamdan held the Muslim “Brotherhood” terrorist organization responsible for “all Arab holy blood that has been shed from Mauritania to Bahrain, to the Gulf region, because of their hypocrite use of religion and sectarianism,” adding that, “they are the basis of terrorism.”

On the other hand, Hamdan denounced the stand taken by certain Lebanese sides against the Lebanese national resistance in the occupied Shebaa farms, stressing that “those who adopt such stances are only friends of Israel.”

For his part, chairman of the Lebanese People’s Conference Kamal Shatila stressed that what is happening in Syria aims at destabilizing the region through the “Greater Middle East Project” sponsored by the US and “Israel” pointing out that “terrorism and extremism kill everyone but do not fight Zionists.”

Shatilla, on the other hand, hailed the Lebanese army and its martyrs and the Arab armies on the front lines and their martyrs.  He greeted all militants who are facing the Zionist enemy and, armed extremism and the “Greater Middle East” project.
