Hamdan: Legislative decree No. 10 reflects the state’s strategy to support national industry

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Finance Dr. Mamoun Hamdan said that the legislative decree No. 10 for the year 2020 comes in implementation of the state’s strategy to support national industry through exempting imported raw materials from customs fees and from all other taxes and fees.

In a telephone call with the Syrian TV, Hamdan said that the legislative decree grants many exemptions on all materials required for industrial production.

He affirmed that the decree aims to enhance the local production and confront the adverse repercussions of the terrorist war launched against Syria, increase competitiveness and lower costs which will positively reflect on lowering prices of various goods produced locally.
