Hama: The National Campaign for Early Detection of Breast, Cervical and Prostate Cancer kicks off

Hama (ST): The National Campaign for Early Detection of Cancer (Breast, Cervical and Prostate)was  launched today in Hama Governorate. It is organized by the National Program for Cancer Control.  The campaign bears the slogan (Your awareness is your strength) and will continue until the ninth of next November.
In a statement, the National Cancer Control Program in Syria said that the five government hospitals in Hama are providing free medical tests to all the citizens who want to check on their health.
The tests include Mammography, Cervical endoscopy, Pap test, prostate biopsy, breast biopsy, CT scan and other necessary procedures, the statement clarified, pointing out that some private medical centers are taking part in the campaign.

The statement also said that 4 mobile clinics, supplied with up-to-date equipment and medical tools, will travel to communities in the countryside of Hama to provide medical services within the framework of the National Campaign for Early Detection of Cancer.
