Halaqi Inaugurated Faihaa Sports Club complex, at 6 billion SP, providing 2,000 jobs

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Dr. Wael Halaqi, designate to form the new government opened yesterday Faihaa Sports Club complex in Dummar residential area,, including sports, social, cultural and recreational facilities on an area of 38 acres, and a total value estimated at six billion Syrian pounds.

Halaqi told reporters that the opening of this giant project “which provides 2000 new jobs” is but a further evidence on the beginning of recovery experienced by Syria, thanks to the victories of our heroic armed forces, while continue to establish security and stability in all Syria, in parallel with the government’s efforts to rehabilitate devastated the areas to create the right climate for the restoration of normal life and participate in the rebuilding and reconstruction of renewable Syria.

He indicated that that these installations are, “the product of the will of the Syrians and their determination to rebuild their country,” noting the government attention to people’s tourism, in parallel with the activation of all sectors to improve citizens’s living conditions and provide them with better services.

He toured the project, which includes sports facilities of tennis, football and basketball playgrounds, bowling, archery, karate, taekwondo, and boxing galleries, sports academy for pioneers, swimming pools and physical treatment centers.

The project also includes social facilities of seven restaurants and lounges for weddings and entertainment events, commercial markets, and other cultural and entertainment centers, comprising one theater and a cinema, meeting rooms, and an amusement park.

It is situated in green spaces to sit citizens and historic statues that reflect the civilized face of Syria, and Damascus in particular, the oldest inhabited capital in history.
