Haidar survives assassination attempt (2)

DAMASCUS, (ST)– Minister of State for Reconciliation Affairs, Ali Haidar, survived an assassination attempt on Masyaf-Qadoums main road, reportsthe Cabinet’s Media Office .

The driver was killed when the car came under fire.

“everyone in Syria is targeted by “the hands of treachery,”Haidar was quoted as saying by the state-run TV.

“thousands of martyrs are now in Syria. However, there is a very important turning point asthe political process is inching closer to emerge out of the crisis,” stressed Haidar.
