Haddad: Syrian Students’ Steadfastness Unmasked Systematic Terrorism in Syria

Syria’s Ambassador to Russia has asserted that steadfastness of Syrian students in Syria and abroad has key role in unmasking systematic terrorism and its supporters, referring to the leading role played by the late President Hafez al-Assad, who used to participate in the demonstrations organized by students against the French occupation.

Riad Haddad’s remarks came during a solidarity stand organized Sunday by the Syrian Students National Union (SSNU) in Moscow on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Student Day.

“Our students are able to confront the Wahhabi Takfiri thinking, which rejects the others’ thinking,” he added, affirming that the dirtiest war began six years ago against Syria has not succeeded in changing Syrian students’ loyalty to the homeland.

Representative of Syrian community in Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States Mohammad Kheir al-Ajoz highly appreciated Syrian Arab army’s victories over terrorist organizations.

“I would like to pay tribute to president Bashar al-Assad and to our army and assert that we will stand together till liberation of our Syrian land from terrorism and till restoration of security and peace to it,” he said, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency quoted several Syrian students in Moscow as saying that they stand by the Syrian Arab army and leadership against the dirty world war imposed on Syria.

The students saluted the Syrian army and people, who have remained steadfast despite suffering from all forms of terrorism and economic blockade.
