Haddad, Murashko discuss Syrian-Russian cooperation in Health sector

MOSCOW, Jun.6, (ST)- Syria’s Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad discussed on Monday with the Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and a team from the Russian Ministry of Health cooperation between the two ministries of health in the two countries.

Haddad stressed the importance of the meeting, which comes in preparation for the forthcoming visit of the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Health to Syria in order to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement in the field of manufacturing medicines and medical equipment and to sign a new agreement related to training and rehabilitating Syrian doctors in the Russian Federation.

He referred to the need to strengthen relations in the field of health and medicine between the two friendly countries.

For his part, Murashko thanked Syria for its support to Russia in the recent meetings of the World Health Organization that took place in Bahrain, stressing that the Russian side’s readiness to raise the level of relations between the two ministries in the two countries, especially providing Syria with vaccines against the Coronavirus.
