Guterres, Putin condemn the terrorist attack in the Iranian city of Kerman

The United Nations Secretary General António Guterres strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred yesterday in the Iranian City of Kerman

“The United Nations News Center” quoted Gutterres as offering condolences to the government and the people of Iran and his wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.

Yesterday, a terrorist bombing occurred near the shrine of the martyr Qassem Soleimani in Kerman province during a ceremony commemorating the assassination of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which led to the martyrdom of 103 people and the injury of about 150 others, some of whom were seriously injured.

In a related context, the Russian President Vladimir Putin strongly condemned the terrorist bombing and offered condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali khamenei and the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

According to the Kremlin, Putin said:” the killing of civilians visiting a cemetery, is a shocking act in its cruelty and  recklessness. I hope that you will convey our expressions of sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims, and our wishes for a speedy recovery for all those injured”.

In his telegram, Putin affirmed Russia’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, stressing its commitment to fight this evil relentlessly.

On its part, Saudi Arabia condemned the terrorist bombing that occurred near the tomb of the martyr Qassem Soleimani in the government of Kerman .

In a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “its sincere condolences, sympathy and solidarity with Iran in this painful event, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery”.
