Gunmen Start Leaving Old Homs: Governor

HOMS-Governor of Homs Talal Barazi on Wednesday said that the first batch of gunmen started to leave the districts of old Homs after all necessary arrangements were made.

Barazi told SANA reporter that the exit of gunmen will be accompanied by reconciliation efforts to make Homs free of weapons and gunmen.

“Keen efforts are being exerted to involve the entire city’s districts not only Old Homs,” the governor said.

He added that “following the exit process some army and armed forces units are to comb the area, dismantle the explosive devices and mines placed by the terrorist groups and remove the sand barriers.
