Gulfood Dubai Exhibition 2024 kicks off on Monday with the participation of Syria

With the participation of about 29 Syrian companies in the field of food industries, the activities of Gulf International Food Industries Exhibition, Gulfood Dubai 2024, will be launched tomorrow in Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates.

The Syrian participation is organized by the Authority for Support and Development of Local Production and Exports and the General Organization for International Exhibitions and Markets, in cooperation with the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the regional office of the Union of Arab Exporters and Importers in Damascus.

Director of the Authority for Support and Development of Local Production and Exports Thaer Fayyad indicated in a statement to SANA correspondent that the participation falls within the plan for external exhibitions, as Syria participates with a pavilion of an area of 336 square meters through 29 food companies specialized in the field of production and marketing of processed foods, olive oil, spices, hot and cold drinks as well as baked goods and other Syrian food products manufactured for export.

Fayyad  pointed out that  Gulfood Dubai exhibition is the largest and most important international exhibition specialized in the food and beverage industries, and represents an important opportunity to market Syrian food products and sign export contracts.

 127 countries and 5,500 companies specialized in the food industry and marketing participate in five-day economic event, which is considered as a platform for businessmen from all over the world to meet. The exhibition is attended by 150 specialists who present their scientific expertise through conferences and seminars held during the exhibition.
