Gulf States Lack Sovereign Decision, Independent Political Strategy: Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Gulf states are known to all of enjoying no sovereign decision and of lacking the minimum kind of independent political strategy,  an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Thursday, pointing out that these states act as a tool by the west to conspire on Syria.

The source was commenting on the statement issued by the Gulf-British summit and on the anti-Syria remarks it included.

According to the source, the Gulf states have invited Britain’s Prime Minister for the summit in order to shield them from threats made by US President-elect Donald Trump against them.

Concerning Britain, the source said, after Brexit, Britain has tried to benefit from the absence of the American role in the current era to restore the glory of its vanished empire and to exploit the gulf leaders’ feeling of defeat and weakness in order to blackmail them and benefit as possible as it can from their wealth using for this purpose ugliest forms of hypocrisy.

The Syrian people and  brave army, which made the decision to eliminate terrorism and is achieving successive victories on takfiri terrorist gangs and their regional and international supporters, give no heed to the crocodile tears shed by the hypocrite advocates of fake democracy and their tools in the Gulf and regard such tears as those of defeat and frustration because of Syria’s victory and the failure of the conspiracy on the country.

The source pointed out that Aleppo and all the Syrian cities will be the grave of the greedy aspirations of the governments, which are still living in the illusion of past colonialism, and their servants in the gulf.
