Grospic: Western coercive measures are the cause of the difficult economic conditions in Syria

Prague (ST): The Vice-Chairman of the Moravian Czech Communist Party and Chairman of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria, Dr. Stanislav Grospic, affirmed that the unilateral Western coercive measures and the continuation of the US and Turkish aggression in plundering Syrian resources are the reason for the difficult economic and life conditions in Syria.

Grospic said in a statement today that these difficult conditions in Syria necessitate stopping the practice of these measures and an immediate end to the Turkish and American aggression, stressing that the sanctions imposed on Syria are unjustified and devoid of legitimacy, and that the American and Turkish occupations violate international law.

Grospic indicated that the Western coercive measures affect the lives of millions of Syrian citizens and contribute to deepening their suffering, stressing that it is the lifting of these measures that will allow to expand the circle of stability and revive development again in Syria.
