Grospic: US looting of oil in Syria is an international crime

Prague,ST- Head of the Czech parliamentary friendship group with Syria, Dr. StanislavGrospic, said that the US looting of Syrian oil is an “international crime”, stressing that this oil or other natural resources in Syria belong to Syrian people only.

Speaking to a SANA reporter in Prague today, Grospic said that what President Donald Trump said about Syrian oil “fully exposed the real program of American foreign policy, which is to seek to loot the natural resources of countries, including Syria, and to wage wars and crises”, calling on Europe to not remain silent towards lootingthe resources of the Syrian sovereign state.

He stressed the need to confront both the American and the Turkish occupation of parts of Syria and their looting of its natural resources.
