Grosbic: Coercive measures against Syria are a shame for those who impose them

Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria, Dr. Stanislav Grosbic, underlined the need to return all areas to the authority of the Syrian state, pointing out that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria are a shame on those who impose them.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague, Grosbic indicated that the Syrian people deserve admiration and appreciation for their steadfastness in the face of international terrorism and their efforts to rebuild their country. He criticized at the same time the Western media’s disregard  of the reality of what is happening in Syria, especially with regard to the fact that many Western countries support terrorist organizations located on its territory.

He pointed out that the Turkish occupation’s Turkification attempts in some areas of Syria show the danger of the imperialist tendency prevailing in the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He stressed that the Czech people who suffered from the Nazi occupation strongly oppose the hostilities carried out by some NATO countries in Syria, calling also for exposing the crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the occupied Arab territories.
