Green beans in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

1 kg green beans

1 large onion, chopped

5 cloves garlic, sliced

4 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped

Olive oil

Pepper

Salt

Cooking method

1. Remove the ends of the beans. Wash the beans.

2. In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the onions and garlic until become golden, put the green beans and simmer until the beans slightly change color.

4. Add salt, pepper, and the tomatoes. Then add water just enough to cover the bean mixture and stir.

4. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the beans are tender and the sauce has thickened.

5. Serve cold.
