Greek police arrest an ISIS terrorist in Athens

 On October 4th, the Greek authorities announced the arrest of an ISIS terrorist in the capital, Athens.

“In cooperation with the Greek intelligence agency and with the help of information received from foreign intelligence agencies, a 34-year-old asylum-seeker was arrested today in central Athens,” the Associated Press quoted the anti-terror police as saying in a statement.

Local media indicated that the aforementioned person had Iraqi citizenship and had arrived in Greece from Turkey, and his asylum application was rejected.

The media added that he was involved in committing crimes in the Middle East before immigrating to Europe.
