Athena, (ST) – Data from the Greek Statistical Service (ELSAT) showed that Greece increased imports of goods from Russia in the period from January to November 2022 by 2.25 times compared to the same period in 2021, despite the packages of sanctions imposed by European countries on Russia.
The data reported by Sputnik Agency indicated that from January to November 2022, the value of Greece’s imports from Russia amounted to 8.465 billion euros, an increase of 125.3 percent compared to the same period in 2021, when it amounted to 3.757 billion euros.
The value of Greece’s exports to Russia in the same period in 2022 amounted to (148.1) million euros, which is 18.8 percent less than the same period in 2021, when Greek goods were exported to Russia worth 182.4 million euros.
