Granting green light to Israeli settlers to raid Al-Aqsa Mosque in big numbers a challenge for international community
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli occupation authorities’ granting a green light for the Israeli settlers to storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque in large numbers next Sunday, stressing that this move constitutes a blatant attack on the Palestinian sanctities and rights and an open challenge for the international community and the international legitimacy resolutions.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry warned against the continuous mobilization of extremist settlers with the aim of storming Al-Aqsa Mosque and vandalizing the neighborhoods and streets of occupied Al-Quds, mainly the old city.
The ministry pointed out that this terrorist mobilization is part of the colonialist policy the occupation is trying daily to perpetuate in the mosque through besieging it and encouraging settlers to storm into it in a bid to change its legal and historical status.
The ministry hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinians in defense of Al-Quds against the occupation’s Judaization and colonialist scheme.
