Governmental team in charge of confronting corona-virus adopts additional decisions

The governmental team in charge of confronting corona-virus made a comprehensive evaluation and a review of the preventive measures taken previously. It also adopted a package of additional decisions to create the appropriate atmosphere for dealing with the latest developments of corona virus pandemic at the regional and international levels.

Meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister engineer Imad Khamis, the team called on citizens to behave with a high sense of responsibility regarding the commitment to the measures of voluntary quarantine which ensures preserving public health, otherwise obligatory quarantine would be imposed in case of non-commitment.

The team reiterated that in case any corona virus infection happened, it would be announced immediately by the ministry of health. All ministries were asked to reduce the rate of workers at the services and administrative establishments to the minimum in a way that guarantees the continuity of work in and offering basic services to citizens.

In the same context,  the team asked the ministries of finance, industry, labor and social affairs, economy and external trade to present a package of incentives and facilitations for the private sector facilities and help them overcome difficulties hindering their work.

The team asked the Ministry of Health to supervise the quarantine centers in the governorates and force all public and private sector establishments to follow up a sterilization mechanism that guarantees the safety of all workers.
