Governmental Delegation Visits Military Formation in Damascus Countryside

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE-Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad and on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of establishing the Syrian Arab Army, a governmental delegation headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis visited one of the army’s military formations operating in al-Qalamon area in Damascus Countryside province, according to SANA.

Khamis convoyed to them the love of President al-Assad and his appreciation for the sacrifices they made to defend the unity and independence of Syria.

 Addressing the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, Khamis said: “We are here today to draw strength and determination from you, and we stand with you in the same trench to defend Syria to bolster victories achieved every day over the entire country to preserve the safety of our homeland and people.”

For their part, the army personnel expressed their determination to continue to defend the homeland till victory is achieved.

Public Works and Housing Minister Hussein Arnous , Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Ahmad al-Qadiri and Governor of Damascus Countryside Alaa Munir Ibrahim were in the delegation.
