Governmental delegation to visit Der Ezzour soon, says PM

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Prime Minister, Dr.Wael al-Halqi, underscored on Thursday the  importance of integration and cooperation in confronting conspiracy and challenges that are facing Syria.

In a meeting with MPs representing Der Ezzour province, the PM said: “Syria is able to achieve victory and restore stability and security thanks to its peoples’ steadfastness and sacrifices.”

Dr. al-Halqi called upon the MPs to communicate with people and provoke them to return their homes, noting the necessity of cooperation between government and people to protect public establishment to ensure people’s basic needs.

SANA reported that the PM briefed the MPs on efforts being exerted by the government to rehabilitate infrastructures and services utilities damaged by armed terrorist groups and ensure people’s basic needs as regards bread and oil derivatives.

The MPs presented demands for ensuring flour and agricultural sector’s requirement, reconstructing homes and forming a committee to settle social problems.

These demands are being daily followed up by the government, according to the PM.

A governmental delegation is due to visit Der Ezzour province soon to inspect situation there, SANA reported.
