Government Invites All Political And Social Bodies To Engage In Negotiations,Says al-Halqi

DAMASCUS, (ST)- “the government is open to all political and social forces, including the opposition and armed groups, “said  Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi.

Al-Halqi’s remarks came during a meeting held on Monday between the ministerial committee tasked  with materializing  the political program to solve  the crisis in Syria and  a delegation from the Syrian Nationalist Social Party (Al-Cham) on Monday.

“the government took steps and presented guarantees for the return of displaced citizens and opposition forces abroad who wish to participate in national dialogue, “underlined al-Halqi.

For their part, the NSP’s delegation  underscored  their party’s support for the political program to resolve the crisis, “to make the national dialogue a success, a suitable atmosphere should be created and  based on mutual trust, through tackling the files of the detainees, abductees  and adopting legal and social mechanisms to settle their cases as well,”.

“other  issues  such as  economy, the basic citizens’ requirements , combating corruption, creating job opportunities and realizing the principle of social justice should also thoroughly discussed, “underlined the NSP’s delegation.
