Good results for Syrian team in Jordan

Amman,(ST)-The U14 national track and field events team have accomplished remarkable results in the U14 2nd West Asia Athletics Championship currently being held in Amman,Jordan.

In the javelin contest, promising player Israa Halafel came first to lift the team’s tally to five varied medals.

Nour Nasser,Halahel’s teammate, finished second in the shot put contest.Areej hasan came third in the high jump contest as she managed to jump to 145 cm only to break her previous record 140 cm.

Scores of layers from Syria,alestiune,Kuwait,UAE,Bahrain,Oman,Jordan,Qatar,Lebanon,Yemena and Iraq are taking art in the said event.
