Gonzales renewed Cuban support for Syria in various fields

Cuba’s First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Anna Teresa Gonzalez expressed her country’s support for Syria in all fields.

During her meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Cuba Dr. Idris Mia at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment in Havana on March 4, Gonzales stressed the importance of improving the economic relations between the two countries.

 

In turn, Ambassador Mia gave reviewed the latest political, military and economic developments in Syria, particularly the achievements and victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in its war against terrorism.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Department of Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment Sergio Espinosa Morei and the diplomatic attaché at the Syrian Embassy in Cuba Areej Suleiman.
