Gold for Syria in the International Gymnastics Pharaohs Cup

Syrian gymnast Abdullah Tarab won the gold medal on the vaulting platform in the International Pharaohs Cup, which is currently being held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The head of the Gymnastics Federation, Muhammad Haboubati stated that obtaining a gold medal in this championship is a new achievement for the Syrian sport in general and for gymnastics in particular.

He said that the Gymnastics Federation always strives to provide the best in order to raise the Syrian flag in international forums.

Egypt, Hungary, Portugal, Tunisia, Yemen, Cyprus, India, Qatar and Georgia, in addition to Syria are participating in the tournament.
